President

Stephanie Williams serves as President of TradeWinds, where she provides leadership and direction across the firm and works to ensure TradeWinds continues to grow while staying true to its values and commitment to its clients. Since stepping into the role in 2023, Stephanie has helped build a strong, collaborative organization with clear direction, consistent communication, and a shared vision for the future.

As President, Stephanie oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm and works closely with the Leadership team to establish priorities, make strategic decisions, and create accountability across the organization. She is passionate about bringing clarity to complex situations, strengthening the way teams work together, and creating an environment where people can do their best work. Stephanie also plays an important role in shaping the firm’s culture, developing its people, and ensuring that the client experience remains at the heart of every decision.

Stephanie brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry to her leadership role. She began her career as a Financial Advisor with Smith Barney in 2004 and joined forces with Tim at Wells Fargo Advisors in 2015, where she developed her expertise in portfolio management and financial planning. She earned her CFP® certification in 2021 and continues to work with clients and contribute to the firm’s investment strategy.

Stephanie holds a degree in Business Finance from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and an MBA from Elon University. She lives in Raleigh with her husband, Britton, and their two sons. Outside of TradeWinds, she enjoys traveling, playing tennis, spending time outdoors, and reading.
